ANDREA GOEGLEIN, Ph.D.

Andrea Goeglein is unusual in the world of business. She has used her understated strength and her dynamic ability as a speaker and decision maker to build an international portfolio. She is a hotel owner, event organizer, CEO advisor, community activist and author. Not an academic, but a business founder who is academically trained, she is counselor and personal mentor to over forty CEO’s of privately held companies – the largest employment segment in the nation.

Andrea proudly began her career answering phones for her uncle’s plumbing business and quickly followed her fascination for all things business as a summer file clerk on Wall Street at the age of fourteen. By then she had decided to become a secretary….to the president of a company of course! Andrea Goeglein knew that a strong administrative background would provide a solid platform for problem solving and strategy, and she turned that humble and proud start into a hugely fulfilling and successful career.

Like many before her and even more since, Andrea started out on what she believed was a straight road to success. She discovered that her straight road to success looked a lot more like a crooked road to fulfillment. Andrea appreciates the paradox of having proudly served as a secretary, to now employing her own company’s 60+ employees and administrative assistants. Although her career was in full swing without a degree, she pursued her education and eventually attained a Ph.D. – a seminal event in her professional life.

Founder. President. Developer. Mentor. Although these words all identify Andrea T. Goeglein, Ph.D., the best testimonial to Andrea’s accomplishments are the long-standing successes of the events, institutions and businesses she has cultivated.
