Why?

By Andrea Goeglein

Why is a three letter word that can open the door to greater personal awareness. Why do you do the work you do? Why do you live where or how you live? Why do you love the people you love? Why do you choose not to have some people in your life? Why?

I have asked myself a lot of “why” questions over the years. This year one big “why” question was around my blog. Why do I write a blog? What purpose does writing and reading my blog serve for myself and others?

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
–Carl Jung

Here are some of the answers I came up with. I write a blog because I like to write. I like to share information about personal growth and life success.  I like to share tools I actually use and know ‘work if you work them.’ I want my blog to carry information that reaches your mind and touches your heart. In essence, I want to be Your Success Sherpa.

With my Dr. Success Challenges I want to invite you to take yet another step on your lifetime journey. I am not a researcher but someone who uses the research from Positive Psychology to live and teach others to live their best life possible. Using my Don’t Die™ Principles, I help you transform any life situation into a situation you can thrive through. Disappointment is a given. Defeat never has to be accepted.  Defeat may need to be transformed, but never accepted.

I will never hide from the tough parts of life whether it is a suicide or a business loss. I will continually guide you — and myself — back to the road of support and possibility.

One new way I will be doing that is offering you a place to share your Don’t Die story. If you feel inspired to write and share, go to my page www.LivingTheSpirit.Today and write your story. I may be Your Success Sherpa, but I urge you to help others by sharing your story of life challenges and transformation.

Dr. Success Challenge: Visit the new page on my sitewww.LivingTheSpirit.Today and start writing. The first 10 submissions will receive my newest book Don’t Die Waiting to be Brave when it is released on November 5, 2015.

Happy writing. Happy Living The Spirit Today!
